Our relationship with you begins with private consultations at our studio in Cheltenham to discuss your wedding day plans, followed by an engagement session to get to know you both with our cameras. On your wedding day our professional wedding photography will capture the essence of your celebration reflecting not just how you look but how you feel. Timeless and stylish images will tell the ultimate story of your day as they are beautifully presented in one of our stunning feature wedding albums.
We consider every wedding we have the privilege of photographing as unique. Therefore the investment required for your wedding photography is tailored to your requirements.
Why should we hire a professional photographer?
Many people know someone with an interest in photography and most cameras now can take a decent photograph in perfect surroundings by themselves. However the camera can not control the posing, lighting and capturing the moment. This requires a specialist skill that only experience, talent and passion can achieve. Photography is our full time occupation and as such when hiring us you will receive the care and attention that your wedding deserves. We have calculated that to give the attention and detail to your wedding requires an investment of our time of over 45 hours. We carry back-up equipment to every event and we are fully insured thus covering you and ourselves in the event of any any unforeseen circumstances. By investing in us you get peace of mind that before, during and after your wedding day you will be looked after and have photographs of your wedding that you will love!
I hate having my picture taken, how can you help me?
One of our main goals is to build a relationship with you long before the wedding day so you feel comfortable and relaxed with us around. We also provide an engagement shoot for our couples, which is great opportunity for you to get used to being photographed and how easy it can be in the hands of a professional.
How far will you travel to shoot a wedding?
Our furthest wedding thus far was in Cape Town, South Africa and as we love to travel and see new places we can definitely be tempted to go even further! We shoot all over the UK on a regular basis so wherever you choose to hold your wedding, we can be there to photograph the day for you!
How would you describe your wedding photography style
We believe that to truly tell the story of your wedding day in photographs we need to blend different styles of photography to suit your wedding and the different elements of the day. From a documentary / photojournalist approach recording the natural moments as they happen, through to creating the signature wedding images of our couples that they love means that your wedding photography will truly tell the story of your wedding day.
Do you charge for travel?
For weddings further than a two hour drive from GL52 travel is charged at 50 pence per mile. Overnight accommodation may be required if the drive home is at such a distance to put your precious photographs at risk. Travel expenses for destination weddings will include flights, meals and 2 - 3 night’s accommodation depending on logistics and any extra events that you may want to be photographed before or after the wedding day.
Do you want to be fed on the day?
We will be at your wedding from the bridal preparations and a nice hot meal while everyone is sitting down at the reception will definitely be much needed and appreciated to keep us going up until the first dance! We usually have this apart from your guests but close enough to the reception to be at hand for any events that need to be photographed.
What can I expect from you on the day?
By your wedding day you will have a pretty good idea of what to expect as we will have had the pre-wedding shoot and consultations to get to know each other. To give you a little taster it will always be Glen and Nicki shooting your wedding, we work extremely well together as a team which ensures we capture all the events and details on your day. We dress smartly and professionally, which means we won’t stand out from your guests as well as be able to move comfortably to get the job done.
How long before we see our photographs?
You will get a sneak peek slideshow of 15-20 images from the day 10 days after the wedding. We then select & professionally edit between 250 & 450 images, depending on the size of the wedding, to show you at a private viewing at our studio. This is usually within two weeks from you returning from your honeymoon.
How many photographs can we have in our album?
Our collections all include a starting number of images from which you can add to. We find most of our completed albums contain between 80 and 100 photographs to fully tell the story of the day.
Can we get all our photos on a dvd?
Some of our collections include the dvd of all the images from your wedding viewing. The dvd is also available to purchase separately if required.
Do we get copyright of the photos?
If you receive your photographs on a disc you get personal usage rights for the images, which allows you to print and share the images with friends and family. You cannot however sell the images for economic gain.
How can we share our photos with friends and family?
After your wedding viewing your images will be uploaded onto a password protected online gallery where family and friends can view and purchase photographs from your wedding day.
